Miniature Mayhem segment (early Special FX)
[04:20 - 07:50] Fascinating!
Yes, one can tell it's model scale, but it's pretty exciting to watch.
Impressed with the earthquake-building-destruction superimposed with the live action
of a couple who can't open their hallway door because the door is jammed tight.

wow!
So all of these films, I'll get to see? Only a longer version of them??? I can hardly wait, as all of these seem like a real pip. This is a MUST SEE on this site, as an intro to this section!

Wonderful! Shotlist please.
Superb. An intro to the wonderful world of archival footage and the exceptional Prelinger collection. Would really appreciate a shot list in order to further explore the sources of these clips. Cheers!

A good effort deserves praise.
A well-made example of what is available in the stock footage collections. Only selections, but chosen in such a way as to highlight the broad spectrum of footage from the early and mid-20th century. Many scenes from around Los Angeles, with San Francisco, New York, and London. This short film should serve only as an introduction to the very large collections open for use by scholars and artists. But it does that one job very well, with a few witty titles thrown in for extra credit. My congratulations to the makers!
